We are so excited to be having our friends from the south joining us at the 2nd Annual Growing Acres Conference! Join us for a conversation about developing strategies for local food systems that are both geographically and economically accessible, including an amazing project that joins a farmers market, church, food truck and community!

Yes, we say excited a lot, but there's a lot to look forward to during the 2nd Annual Growing Acres Conference! Like this: The Mower County Master Gardeners are holding a Community Workshop on Saturday all about gardening from seed to harvest that we think will be a great session for anyone who wants to start a garden in the backyard!
If you've ever been interested in learning how to join, come visit with the Master Gardeners on Friday. It's an excellent opportunity to find out more about the group and projects that they work on.
If there is a couple who are more passionate about mushrooms we've yet to run across them and we are so excited that Kalvin, half of the Fiddlehead Knob's team, will be joining us to share his and Rachel's experience with growing mushrooms!
